Ability Weaving

Combine complete mastered abilities, including one compatible summon payload, into a permanent Woven Skill Book in High Anchorage.

Normal abilities

Two or three sources

The selected abilities must use compatible targets. Healing and revival may be combined only with a downed-ally delivery.

Auras

One to three sources

Auras can be woven only with other auras.

Output

Woven Skill Book

The book enters Inventory or Town Stash and must be equipped and studied before its ability becomes permanent.

Rules

Creating a woven ability

  1. Only complete abilities mastered by the selected Scribe can be used.
  2. A normal weave combines two or three compatible abilities. An aura weave combines one to three auras, and auras cannot be mixed with non-aura abilities.
  3. Racial abilities cannot be woven. Sniper's Mark and Double Tap also cannot be woven.
  4. The delivery is chosen from one selected source. The icon, book appearance, and sound are chosen together from one selected source independently.
  5. Action time and cooldown use the slowest selected source.
  6. Mana and Stamina costs are permanent choices. Each used resource must be at least the selected sources' combined native cost and cannot exceed the Scribe's current maximum.
  7. A mixed-resource cast pays its Mana and Stamina costs together.
  8. Restorative weaves may combine healing and revival only when the selected delivery targets a downed ally.
  9. A weave may contain one bound-summon payload and compatible support material. Multiple bound-summon payloads cannot be combined.
  10. The finished item is a Woven Skill Book. It must be equipped and studied through the normal ability-book process.
  11. Living Revision permits one mastered woven ability to be used as a source for a new book without changing the original.
